At Niine Skin Clinic, we offer high-tech scar treatment using the Candela Vbeam Perfecta® laser, a world-renowned and highly regarded device known for its effectiveness in treating vascular lesions, scars, pigment spots, hemangiomas, and rosacea. The Vbeam Perfecta® laser is a top-tier piece of technology, considered one of the best in its field.
How does the Vbeam Perfecta® Laser work?
The Vbeam Perfecta® laser uses pulsed dye laser technology that targets problem areas of the skin with precision. The laser energy is absorbed by damaged blood vessels or pigmented spots, helping to reduce redness, discoloration, and the visibility of scars. The procedure also stimulates collagen production, improving the skin’s structure and texture.
What are the benefits of PDL scar treatment?
Effective Scar Treatment: The Vbeam Perfecta® laser is particularly effective for treating acne scars, surgical scars, and other types of skin scarring.
Versatility: In addition to scar treatment, this laser is excellent for treating rosacea, vascular lesions, pigment spots, and hemangiomas.
Safe and Comfortable: The procedure is non-invasive and well-tolerated by most patients. Thanks to the built-in cooling system, the procedure is comfortable and minimally painful.
Quick Recovery: Most patients experience minimal downtime and can return to their daily activities the same day.
Procedure Steps
Consultation: First, you’ll have a thorough consultation with our specialist, who will assess your skin condition and determine an appropriate treatment plan.
Treatment: The procedure begins with cleansing the skin. The specialist will then direct the Vbeam Perfecta® laser to the affected area. The laser pulses are short and precise, ensuring maximum effectiveness.
Aftercare: After the procedure, mild redness or swelling may occur, which typically subsides within a few hours to a few days. If needed, your specialist will advise you on how to care for your skin post-treatment.
What to consider before the procedure?
- If the procedure is performed during your appointment, please come without makeup if possible.
- You should not have tanned recently – there must be at least 2–4 weeks since sun exposure, depending on your skin tone. Avoid using self-tanning products for 1 month before the treatment.
- Do not undergo the procedure if you have active inflammation on the treatment area.
- The procedure cannot be performed during a course of antibiotics – at least 2 weeks must have passed since your last dose.
- The procedure is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
What to consider after the procedure?
After the treatment, you may experience redness, swelling, and a sunburn-like sensation, which typically resolves within a few hours to up to 3 days. To reduce these symptoms, apply a cold compress to the treated area every 1–2 hours. To soothe and heal the skin, use a skin-repairing cream (e.g., Bepanthen, Panthenol, Burnshield) until the skin has fully recovered.
You may undergo other facial or cosmetic procedures (like beauty injections, facial massage, chemical peels, etc.) after 2 weeks.
For 1 week after the procedure, avoid skincare products that might irritate the treated area (e.g., retinol or other active ingredients), and also avoid exfoliating the skin.
Results
Most patients see visible improvements after just one session, but multiple treatments may be necessary to achieve optimal results. Results continue to improve gradually over several months as collagen production continues.
