CORONAVIRUS TESTS (Sars-Covid-2) IN A HEALTH CARE CENTRE IN KOTKA HOME
For the determination of the coronavirus by PCR, a sample of the nasal mucosa is taken in the analysis laboratory of Kotka Health Centre. Entrance in the courtyard of the health centre, please see the plan opposite. The NICU method involves an analysis by a specially trained nurse. Patients do not come into contact with each other indoors and contact surfaces are cleaned between patient visits.

Preliminary steps to test for the coronavirus:
- Book an appointment by calling +372 615 4115 or via the online registration form.
- We take samples from Monday to Friday
- Samples can be given at Kotka Health House, Kotka 12 (separate entrance directly from the yard, see map).
- A PCR test is taken from the nasopharynx to detect the virus as early as possible.
- We will give you an answer either on the same day (rapid test) or the day after the sample is given. The answer can also be found on the Patient Portal (https://www.digilugu.ee/login) If the test is positive, we will contact the patient.

The coronavirus antigen (rapid) test is less sensitive than PCR and detects the presence of the virus in the body during the active period. You will get the result of the test within 20 min.
The cost of the test is €30.

Coronavirus antibodies in blood.
The result of the test indicates the amount of antibodies in the body after the passage of the coronavirus or after vaccination. Antibodies are also produced asymptomatically in the bodies of people with coronavirus. The test is taken from the venous blood. Test results up to 24h.
Pre-registration for the antibody test is not necessary, please come to the second floor of the A-block of Kotka Health House (Niine Dermatology Clinic) on weekdays.
