Check your skin at least once a month. See if there are any spots of pigmentation on the skin that are different from the others (ugly duckling). In most cases, all moles are the same, so attention should be paid to those that differ in colour, size or shape, or if a pigment spot is growing rapidly. Also check the soles of your feet and the palms of your hands!
Once a year, you should have your blisters checked by a specialist (dermatoscopist).
Protect your skin and eyes from ultraviolet rays – sun protective clothing, wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, sunglasses.
Do not use solarium.
