Photorejuvenation – Omnilux light therapy
Photorejuvenation is a non-invasive modern light therapy method that gives the skin a significantly rejuvenating effect.
Omnilux light therapy technology is based on narrow linewidth light-emitting diodes (LED). The light therapy equipment has four modes (Omnilux revive, Omnilux blue and Omnilux plus); therefore, this equipment is indicated for various skin problems, starting from the reduction of the signs of aging to treating acne, wounds and skin cancer. The Omnilux light spectrum does not include UVA or UVB wavelengths or laser beams.
The Omnilux revive (wavelength 633 nm) and Omnilux plus (wavelength 830 nm) modes stimulate the cell mechanisms that are responsible for the improvement and rejuvenation of tissues, i.e. it increases the fibroblast activity and the production of collagen in the skin. As the result of light therapy, the signs of aging of the skin are reduced, elasticity is improved, wrinkles are smoothed out, complexion becomes more even and glowing. As an accompanying effect, light improves the production of serotonin in the body which in turn improves mood.
First time clients are recommended to have 9 procedures within 3 weeks to achieve the best results. To retain the results, the procedures should be repeated with 5-week intervals.
The skin is thoroughly cleaned and a moisturising cream is applied before Omnilux light therapy. The procedure is painless and side effects are very rare (the skin may slightly flush for some time).
