Lifting facial sutures – Silhouette Soft
Silhouette Soft is a minimally invasive innovative procedure involving inserting special sutures into the skin to restore its volume in the face and neck area and to reduce wrinkles. The material of the lifting facial sutures is a polymer poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) which, over time, resorbs into the skin and stimulates the body to produce its own collagen. Consequently, the lifting facial sutures combine two effects – an immediate lifting and tightening effect and a longer-term regenerative effect, i.e. additional skin collagen production.
Silhouette Soft facial sutures tighten the skin primarily in the area of cheeks and mid face, eyebrows and jaw line; the contours of the face are improved. The sutures are also used to tighten the skin on the neck.
The procedure lasts for about 30 minutes and the result will be visible for up to 18 months.
Slight swelling, bruising or irregularity of skin may occur after the procedure in the treated site, which usually disappear within a couple of days. It is recommended to avoid make-up (24 hours), rubbing or massaging the skin (5 days), heavy exercising, sunbathing and using tanning devices (2 weeks), going to a sauna (3 weeks), and any massage procedures of the face or neck (4 weeks).
