Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu and specialized in oncology and general surgery. Participated in training sessions and conferences in the fields of oncology, general surgery, plastic surgery, and dermatoscopy in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, England, France, Russia, Israel, and the United States.
Engaged in several international research projects, published articles, presented at international congresses, and delivered lectures at physicians’ continuing education events.
Dr. Niin is a member of the Estonian Surgeons’ Association, the Estonian Oncologists’ Society, the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) Melanoma Group, and the International Dermoscopy Society (IDS). Since 2010, she has been the Estonian representative in the Global Melanoma Task Force (GMTF). Additionally, Dr. Niin is a member of the Estonian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS).
